About
I photograph people the way I hope they’ll be remembered.
I started Auston’s Eye because I couldn’t stop making pictures of the people I loved. Ten years later, the mission is unchanged — capture the small, true moments before they slip past.
My Story
I grew up in a house where the fridge was covered in prints. My mom kept every photo of every birthday, every scraped knee, every off-key recital. That’s what taught me photography wasn’t about pictures — it was about proof.
I bought my first serious camera in 2016 and haven’t put it down since. What started as portraits of family and friends became senior sessions, then weddings, then brand work for people I deeply admire.
The through-line is the same one I learned at that fridge: make images the future will thank you for.
Behind the Lens
A quiet set is my superpower.
I direct softly. I laugh at your kids’ jokes. I put on the music you love. The camera comes up when you’ve forgotten it exists — that’s when the image lands.
Philosophy
Light, honesty, restraint.
Trends age faster than people. I edit for the version of you your grandchildren will meet, not the version optimized for a feed.
